My lab now use ARCGis(R) based apps to map the main bird and plant species recorded in all the Galapagos. Specifically, we are now recording main invasive birds and plants, and endemic species of these same groups, in order to collect data that can be used not only for scientific purposes but also to inform managerial actions. We are looking to include Galapagos National Park rangers to help us collecting these records.
